1. Intermedia is an international peer-reviewed e-Journal of communication sciences of Communication Faculty of Istanbul Commerce University. It is published twice per year in December and June via Internet. Journal is sent to index corporations which scan it within two months after its publishing.
2. Journal includes original study, research, compilation about communication sciences, and also book introductions (as long as it is in an article format).
3. It is stipulated that articles sent to journal had not been published. Papers presented in scientific meetings can be accepted as long as this circumstance is stated.
4. Copyright of accepted articles is considered to be transferred to Intermedia, International Peer-Reviewed E-Journal of Communication Sciences of Communication Faculty of Istanbul Commerce University. Under no circumstances the journal accepts the responsibility of any content. Authors held the responsibility of their published articles. Quotation can be made from articles and photos as long as source is stated.
5. Articles that are sent to be published are taken to examination by editorial board in terms of form and content. Articles that are settled to be published are sent to at least two referees. Authors are not informed about referees’ identities as well as referees are not informed about authors’ identities. Reports of the referees are classified. And they are undisclosed for three years. If two referees give negative opinion about article, it will not be published and it will not be returned to the authors.
6. If referees give positive opinion, article is queued. If two referees give different opinions, article is send to a third one. According to third referee’s decision, editorial board places a final decision. In the case of referee expressing an opinion about revision, author(s) is/are asked to make the necessary corrections in one month at the latest. Authors can fulfill referees and Editorial Board’s critics and suggestions; if they do not agree with these suggestions, they should state with reasons. Articles, which need revision, will not be published unless they are corrected.
7. No royalties will be paid to authors.
8. Articles written in Turkish should include a long abstract of 1500-2000 words in English. The long abstract should cover the title and subtitles of the article and all the reference used in the article.
