Dr. Franco Mosconi an associate Professor of Industrial Economics at the University of Parma holding the Jean Monnet Chair. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the European College of Parma Foundation and also a member of the editorial boards of various journals. He has served as an economic adviser to Italy’s Prime Minister, Professor Romano Prodi and has been a member of Prime Minister Prodi’s Cabinet, then becoming a member of the President’s Forward Studies Unit (“Cellule de Perspective”) at the European Commission in Brussels. After graduating in Economics and Business from the University of Bologna (Laurea Magna cum laude 1987), he went on to specialize as a Research Student in Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science (1993-94).
