Dr. Ahmet Kesik is the Director General of the Strategy Development Unit of the Ministry of Finance and is also a professor in the Public Finance Department at Yildirim Beyazit University, Ankara. Previously, he served as Head of Department and the Deputy Director General of Budget and Fiscal Control at the Ministry of Finance. He authored a number of books and articles in economics and finance. He holds a BA degree in economics from Ankara University and master’s degree in economics from Western Illinois University.
