The International Office of Istanbul Commerce University holds the mission of contributing to the internationalization policies of Istanbul Commerce University. Working within the scope of this mission, it functions with the purposes of developing international partnership and cooperation, increasing the international experiences of academic and administrative staff and students and contributing to the formation of a multi-cultural and inclusive international campus life.

Our international students, whose number has reached around 530 in the Fall Semester 2015, come from different countries all over the world (p.e. Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of The Congo, Chechnya, Djibouti, China, England, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Ghana, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Morocco, Palestine, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Somali, Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan). International students are also granted partial/full scholarships in particular departments by our university.

The International Office carries out counseling and coordination services for all international students. The office develops and implements various projects in order to facilitate the adaptation of international students to the university and to increase the interaction between students. New partners have been added to the cooperation list as a result of agreements signed with various universities from different countries. Michigan State University, Ferris State University, Eastern Michigan University, Rowan University (USA),  Sarajevo Universities (Bosnia Herzegovina), Southwest University of Finance and Economics (China),  Adige State University (Russia), University of Duhok (Iraq) and University of Salford Manchester (England) can be counted among them. Moreover, the International Office progressively carries out negotiations to sign academic cooperation protocols in various fields with prominent universities from different regions of the world. (Including China, The Balkans, USA and Asia).
